Description: Free indoor skatepark with steel ramps on a concrete slab surface. The buckeye skatepark is a fairly large, prefab steel set up on a (fairly) smooth concrete slab. I'm not sure exactly who built these; the ramps look a lot like skatewave ramps, and that's probably all you'll need to know. The obstacles cannot be moved around because they're bolted solidly to the concrete; they are not always oriented in the most sensible of directions; and the concrete slab has some extremely large control joints, making the whole setup a bit challenging to skate, maybe even a bit hazardous in places. Buckeye is also extremely hot and arid in the summertime, which means that the steel gets sizzling hot in the baking sun; make sure to bring sunscreen and lots of water if you're going to skate this anytime between april and october. Next door to the buckeye aquatic center in the buckeye town park.
