Description: Free outdoor skatepark with concrete surface. Lit at night. This skatepark is in a park called jose antonio cabello recreation area, but don't look for it on google maps, because you won't find it. The skatepark is weird, to put it mildly; it consists of two kinked railslide bars (bolted to the concrete), a medium-sized concrete box, a half-pyramid (or, put another way, a bank-to-flat-to-bank), and a bank-to-flat-to-three-stair-handrail, none of which are all that fun to skate. The surprise here is that such a small border town even has a skatepark; the fact that it's very difficult to skate, and kind of crappy, isn't surprising at all. It's not really worth the drive from anywhere- even across san luis- to skate, but for the local neighborhood kids, it's probably better than nothing at all. -bud stratford, everything skateboarding/concrete disciples, february 2018.
