Update 6/1/2013: the two new street sections around the vert ramp at the encinitas ymca are done and open to skate! no more splinters or screws sticking out, the wood ramps have been replaced by brand new smooth concrete built by california skateparks with a few movable composite sections built in so the ymca can change/add new pieces in the future. Designed by site design group, the park features a beginner side and an advanced side, both with a variety of transitions, banks, ledges, stairs, rails, layback walls, pool coping, brick banks - encinitas ymca has it all now, come check it out!
