Description: Free outdoor skatepark with concrete surface. Lit at night. The anthem red rock skatepark is defined by it's large, amoeba-shaped bowl that ranges between 6' to 8' deep (or so), with several hips, extensions, and oververt pockets. Outside the bowl, there are a few street elements scattered around... A couple of pump bumps, a nipple, a curved box, and a standard box... With some elements incorporated into the deck of the bowl itself. This skatepark, "officially speaking", is only open to residents and guests of the nearby residential neighborhood and/or the city of red rock. However, this is a very difficult rule to enforce; out-of-towners regularly make the trek from tucson or phoenix to skate it, and have no problems at all. There is supposed to be an attendant on site, but i've never seen one there; there are also supposed to be "scheduled hours", but i've never seen it closed. -bud stratford, everything skateboarding/concrete disciples, february 2018. Not open to the general public. Open to residents and authorized guests of red rock *only*. (see below).
